New to the Dolphins? Here are answers to what families ask most about registration, practice, and the season.

Do swimmers need experience to join?

No, swimmers of all levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced competitors. The only requirement is the ability to swim one lap unassisted. All swimmers will be evaluated by a coach, either during a stroke technique clinic or by scheduling a separate time. To arrange an evaluation, email tustin.dolphins.swim@gmail.com

Do I have to be a Tustin Meadows resident?

No, residency in Tustin Meadows is not required to join the team.

Are all practices required? What if I have a vacation or other camps?

No, attendance at every practice is not required. We understand swimmers may have vacations, camps, or other commitments.

What should my swimmer bring to practice?

Swimsuit, goggles, and a towel. Coaches will provide any additional guidance.

How often are practices?

Practice schedules are posted on the Schedule page and may vary by group.

Are swim meets required?

Meets are encouraged but not required. We want swimmers to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.

How will we receive team updates?

Communication will be shared via email and team announcements.

How do I pay?

Payments can be made by check (payable to Tustin Dolphins) or cash. Digital payments are not currently available.
